1 in 5 children will experience some form of bullying at school.

Don't wait until your child is confronted with a bullying situation before addressing the topic with them.

Our Bullying Prevention Interactive Resource is recommended for young children from 3 ½ - 8 years old. It contains three separate stories to address the different types of bullying behaviour displayed by young children.

kate 1 – ‘Kate’s new bag’ looks at verbal bullying and the effects of saying hurtful things to other children. It also discusses where to get help and what to do if the child witnesses someone being bullied.

ben 2 – ‘Ben and Jack go to the playground’ discusses physical bullying and explains what to do if the child is being bullied or has been bullying others.

jodie 3 – ‘Jodie tells a lie’ shows the harmful social and emotional effects of making up lies and rumours about another person.

Each section has been carefully written to engage the child in a unique and interactive learning experience that causes them to think about life, behaviour, feelings and consequences.

Throughout the resource the child is required to respond to different challenges, share their ideas and discuss what they have learned. Parents are given discussion tips on certain screens to help maximise the child’s learning experience.

To complement the interactive resource, please ensure that you download your
free user guide containing suggested activities, role-plays and discussion questions. Don’t forget to check out our free stuff for kids.

Bullying is a real issue faced by today’s children. All around the world, parents, teachers, childcare workers, counsellors and psychologists are dealing with the negative impact bullying has on a child’s confidence, social skills, peer interaction, sense of security, self-image, health and development on a daily basis.

Every parent wants their child to feel safe.

At Lessons4Life we believe that early education and communication with children is the key.

Our resources are designed to engage children in a hands-on learning experience that causes them to think about life, behaviour, feelings and consequences, while at the same time engaging them in important conversation with an adult.
